Here's an old pharmacy table converted An under-used corner of the kitchen was
into a snack bar for the kids made into a pantry using old exterior shutters
Vince made this island out of a modern cheap kitchen table bought at K-Mart. We used the table for a number of years, until I wanted an island. We removed the legs and added a random cabinet & dishwasher on the opposite side and tossed some beadboard around it...in the background are vintage cabinets that we recovered...we stripped, painted and added new hardware and some lights & mirrors inside.
